Downtown Freeport

In Blog by Alfred Anderson

About 5 months ago I decided to do something I’ve never really done before. I normally consider myself a ‘control freak’ when it comes to photography. I lover of controlled lighting and a properly planned photo session, I wanted to go out of my comfort zone for a while. I don’t consider myself to be a shy person but around 11pm at night in downtown Freeport can turn even the boldest of person to fear. Much to my surprise I was able to meet some of the nicest people who I believe are so misunderstood. Here is a small portion of what I was able to capture.

“This ‘journey towards perfection’ may often lead us down the path of self destruction. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day routine of ‘life’. Often times we lose ourselves for a moment and forget the things that are really important.
I believe in change. I also believe in becoming better. I do not believe in conformity.

I want to do something I’ve never really done and capture not just moments of bliss, beauty, fashion or anything that seems desirable for that matter.”
